What I do: Before and after

So, here’s the kind of work I do. I’m obsessive about these amps, and I tear them down to the bones and inspect and rebuild everything. My primary concern is reliability. I don’t want these amps breaking down in the field, and so far, not a single one has.

Before:

Pretty typical as they come to me. Dusty and tired. Issues found: Loose chassis ground, cold solder joint on power supply drain resistor, slight gain mis-match in left channel input, 47uF bypass capacitors on output modules deteriorated with high ESR.
